My Fourth of July started a few days ago actually with these lovely fireworks and these lovely people. My mom lives off of a manmade lake in Victorville and every year the homeowner's association puts on a fantastic fireworks show just about 100 yards from her backyard in the lake. We get together as a family and BBQ, chill, swim, and play. It's always a good day.
Then tonight, for the actual 4th of July, this cute guy and I went to Santa Monica and walked the pier. From there we were able to see the firework shows from all the other beaches. They were all so spectacular and bright. It was a good night. I want to take the kids to the pier for a little photo shoot this summer- lots of fun murals and stuff. Probably sometime in August.
I also did this layout for a Friday night challenge at Megan's site in honor of this lovely holiday! Isn't he just the cutest little thing you ever did see! It has been fun getting to know him this summer.
